For a long time, I have felt not comfortable being otaku.
Anime,manga and oekaki is surely Japanese subculture.
But many Japanese who are not otaku hate otakus.
I know that otaku has not good image, I don't know how to explane this feeling
not otaku people felt.
the tipical word "kimoi" is most exactly word to express their feeling.
I know and I can understand that.
But the image is sometimes not correct.
Otaku are not always kimoi.

Usually, they think otaku don't care what they wear or how they seen by people.
So they can notice who is otaku and who isn't otaku.
I have to say it's nearly correct.
But some otakus live same as not otaku.
And aften they hide that they are otaku.
people don't notice.
But once they know, they regard otaku as otaku they think.
they keep distance from otaku.

Japanese otaku are living not comfortable life among those people.
same as me.
My father and mothar hate otaku.
I can't play video games infront of their eyes.
Not only PS2 but also DS and PC game.

I used to it.
but never comfortable.
how about your country?
